Ingredients (for BB-CEC20)

  • 1-1/3 C water (320 mL)
  • 4-1/4 C bread flour (544 g)
  • 4 Tbs sugar (46 g)
  • 2 Tbs dry milk (8 g)
  • 2 tsp salt (11 g)
  • 2-1/2 Tbs butter (35 g)
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast (6 g)
  1. Make sure the kneading blade(s) are properly attached, and add water to the baking pan.
  2. Add flour, sugar, dry milk, and butter to baking pan. Make a small well and add yeast.
  3. Place baking pan in Home Bakery. Set course to 1/Regular Basic, and press START.
  4. Let bread cool and serve.

To set timer: Select course, then press timer button. Timer advances in 10 minute increments, up to 13:00 hrs. You are choosing the amount of time you want until the bread is completed.

eg If it is currently 9:00AM (0900) and you want the bread to be done at 2:00PM (1400), then you are asking for the bread to be complete in 5 hours. You would therefore set the timer to read 0500. Add ingredients and set baking pan into place, press START/RESET button and make sure the light comes on. Bread machine will start counting down in 1 minute increments from the timer set.
