Cookwise Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C hoisin
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 2 T vegetable oil
  • 3 T sugar
  • 2 pork tenderloins, approx 1 lb each

For the sauce

  • 1/2 C water
  • 4 Tbs butter

Directions

  1. Mix hoisin, soy sauce, vegetable oil, sugar together in a zip loc bag or other marinating vessel. Add pork tenderloins, turning every few hours. Marinate overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 500 F. Line a roasting pan with foil and 2 Tbs water. Spray a roasting rack with oil and place over pan.
  3. Remove pork from marinade AND RESERVE. Place on roasting rack and roast 9-10 mins. Turn and roast an additional 9-10 mins to an internal temperature of 148 F. Remove to cutting board and let stand 8 mins before slicing.
  4. Pour marinade into a saucepan with 1/2 C water. Bring to a gentle boil for 3 minutes. Turn down the heat and add the butter, stir.
